This work addresses the internal patterns behind overthinking, irritability, and identity tension, helping you live in a way that reflects who you are now, not just who you were when you began.
What We Do Over the
Six Weeks
You already know how to work hard. You already know how to carry responsibility. You already know how to push through. That isn’t the issue.
What becomes exhausting is the constant mental load underneath it all. The replaying of decisions, worrying about whether you’ve done enough, feeling responsible for everything and struggling to switch off. That pressure does not stay at work. It follows you home and shapes how you feel in your relationships and about your future.
This is six weeks of high-level, tailored 1–2–1 work.
We begin with a 90-minute initial session. In that session, we slow everything down and get clear about what is actually happening for you. Not the surface frustration, but the real issue underneath.
For some doctors, that means untangling overthinking and decision paralysis. For others, it is boundaries. For others, it is identity, resentment, irritability at home, or the quiet question of whether their life still fits.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
You were trained to diagnose problems, manage risk and take responsibility. What you were never taught was how to deal with guilt, how to make difficult decisions without tying yourself in knots, how to say no with-out feeling bad about it, or how to separate who you are from what you do.
Those skills matter at work, but they matter just as much at home. They affect how you show up with your partner, your children, your friends and yourself. Over time, when you don’t have those tools, it starts to show.
You might notice you’re more irritable, more stuck in your head, more tired than you should be or maybe wondering why your life feels harder than it needs to. Many doctors assume this is just how adulthood or mid-career medicine feels. It isn’t. It’s a gap in skills. That’s what this work focuses on.
WHO IS THIS FOR
This work is for you if you look capable on the outside but feel stretched underneath. If you are questioning your current path. If you are tired of looping on the same decisions. If you want clarity before making major changes. If you are willing to look honestly at your own patterns.
It is not for you if you want someone to tell you what decision to make, or if you are looking for quick motivation without deeper reflection.
HOW IT WORKS
We work together over six sessions within an eight-week period. The first session lasts 90 minutes and is dedicated to understanding the problem fully and agreeing a clear focus for our work. The following five sessions are one hour each and are usually held weekly. The eight-week window allows space for up to two short breaks if needed
Between sessions, you have the option of a structured weekly email check-in for reflection, accountability or clarification. There may be exercises or reflective work suggested between sessions. These are always optional, but if I recommend them, it is because I believe they will support your progress
If appropriate, you may also be offered access to tailored pre-recorded hypnosis tracks to support focus, emotional steadiness or decision-making. These are supplementary rather than essential. This is deliberate work. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from it
